Last week, I posted an article explaining why security is everyone’s concern. Today I came across another article which underscores this. The Zeus botnet apparently self-destructed last month, effectively rendering 100,000 computers across the Internet non-functional.
Even if you are unmotivated to keep your system from becoming part of a network of malicious drones which can be used for illegal purposes, or still think that nobody would care about what’s on your computer, this article should give you cause for concern that your machine could be sabotaged by malicious software.
